Keynote Speakers
We are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers for this year; Linda Cruse; Our keynote speaker, Linda Cruse, is an international humanitarian aid leader, leadership expert and inspirational speaker. She has founded many different initiatives, including ‘Be the Change’, ‘the Race4Good’ and ‘Emergency Zen’. These aim to provide leadership skills and employ passionate leaders to tackle the world’s seemingly most intractable problems. She has worked in many different remote communities, such as in the Himalaya, developing expertise of diverse cultures, extreme environments and disaster areas. She was a senior fellow and entrepreneur at the University of Canterbury at the College of Business and Law. Her multiple published books, include ‘Marmalade and Machine Guns’. Molly Scott Cato, MEP; Our key note speaker Molly Scott Cato is the Green MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar, elected in May 2014. Pending Britain’s exit from the European union she pushes for a clear plan that guarantees social, economic and environmental justice. Areas of interest and expertise include; land ownership and food production, renewable energy, especially when it is owned by local communities, co-operatives and self-managed firms, and in the opposition of nuclear armament. She has recently launched a website called; ‘Bad Boys of Brexit- who is taking back control?’ exposing a list of mainly male international businessmen and politicians involved in Brexit. |
